I don't know very well what to talk about, but it's like that whenever they give me a free topic, I have many ideas, I love horror's stories and movies, so let's talk about it. When the pandemic started I told myself i have a possibility that I will die and there are many films that I have not seen so I told myself it's time to see cult movies and horror movies. I learned an important lesson with this habit, "that they are cult does not make them good movies" ,for example SUSPIRIA from 1977 is a classic, it has an excellent soundtrack and I can understand to some extent why it is considered cult, but this film aged very badly and for me it was boring, after this bad taste in my mouth I decided to see its remake, and oh my god, this is a great movie, with a great soundtrack and great actors like Tilda Swinton

Another thing I learned is that a low budget movie can be better than a big budget movie, and a great example of this is the movie "The Killer Clowns from Outer Space". I love this movie, I was not afraid in fact I laughed, it is a movie to see with friends on the beach with some beer

I think it is obvious that I saw many movies and it is difficult not to compare, for example the movie "midsommar", I know that many people love it, but I saw a movie that uses the same topic of paganism to instill fear and I think it makes it better, and this is "the wicker man" from 1973, only here we follow the story of a policeman looking for a missing girl on an island with strange customs quite far from the christians

Finally I want to talk about "misery" from 1990 a great movie starring with the great Kathy Bates, this movie can be understood as a story about toxic fans and their relationship with famous people. I watched this movie in Spanish, but due to the great acting of the voice actress and the expressiveness of Kathy Bates, it turned out to be a great experience.

I watched too many movies, but I don't want this to last forever and I think I'll have over 200 words. XD

  1. I'm not into watching horror movies, but I want to overcome my fears and see more. The same thing happens with the books of the horror genre.
But to the adaptations of Stephen King I really want to see them, especially misery.
